Corporate Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and oversee consolidated financial reporting, which includes balance sheet analysis and budgeting for net working capital.

• Manage accounting for capitalized software throughout its lifecycle, adhering to US GAAP and company policies.

• Supervise accounting for specialized contracts and partnerships in accordance with US GAAP.

• Assist with revenue accounting and ensure timely transactional closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Oversee intercompany accounting, including the distribution of expenses and revenues among subsidiaries.

• Identify opportunities for enhancements in the accounting close process and implement improvements.

• Lead intricate accounting transactions and offer technical accounting advice.

• Research new accounting standards and industry developments, making necessary compliance adjustments.

• Manage and enhance the global control environment along with SOX compliance.

• Guide and mentor junior team members.

• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting as required.

• Work collaboratively with various departments to address accounting challenges and provide financial and commercial insights.

• Report directly to the Director, Corporate Controller.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting is required.

• CPA certification is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience as an Accounting Manager in a publicly registered US company.

• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or a similarly sized ERP system is preferred.

• Current work authorization or qualifying H-1B status may be necessary; new H-1B petitions subject to the specified $100,000 filing fee are not currently supported.
