Senior Analyst, Revenue Accounting Systems – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete development and enhancement of revenue accounting reports, dashboards, analytics, and data models.

• Spearhead automation and process simplification initiatives within Revenue Accounting.

• Convert accounting and business requirements into scalable systems, reporting, data, and automation solutions.

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions for reporting, analysis, documentation, reconciliations, and process support.

• Design and optimize dashboards on Tableau Cloud and workflows in Tableau Prep.

• Examine revenue-related data across Snowflake and other sources to reconcile systems, spot anomalies and root causes, and enhance data quality.

• Create advanced Excel models and analytical tools.

• Propel enhancements across Salesforce, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and associated revenue data flows.

• Align stakeholders from Revenue Accounting, Finance Systems, IT, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Finance.

• Develop capabilities for exception reporting and monitoring.

• Assess and implement generative AI, automation, and emerging technology use cases.

• Document processes, data flows, requirements, system logic, controls, and automated workflows to ensure governance and audit readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

• A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and revenue-related business operations.

• Experience in managing complex financial and operational data across various enterprise systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, analysis of large datasets, financial modeling, and effective spreadsheet design.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in investigating intricate issues, determining root causes, and formulating practical solutions.

• Experience in financial reporting, analytics, automation, finance systems, or initiatives focused on process improvement.

• Ability to translate accounting and business requirements into scalable solutions for reporting, data, automation, or systems.

• Capacity to independently manage intricate initiatives from problem identification and requirements definition to implementation and adoption.

• Strong foundation in data integrity, financial controls, process documentation, governance, and audit readiness.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Accounting, Finance, Systems, Data, and technical teams.

• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, or similar enterprise billing and revenue platforms.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.

• Preferred: Experience in developing Tableau Cloud dashboards and Tableau Prep workflows or similar tools.

• Preferred: Experience in applying automation, generative AI, or emerging technologies to finance, accounting, reporting, or analytical workflows.

• Preferred: Experience in designing exception reporting, monitoring, or control frameworks.

• Preferred: Proven success in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving systems or process improvements without direct authority.
