This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Take ownership of category-specific goals, strategies, and program development for the global spend and supply base within scope.
• Leverage pooling opportunities and synergies across Hillenbrand's various operating companies and sites.
• Model the ideal supply base in accordance with market trends, demand requirements, and business objectives.
• Establish supply base preferences, sourcing governance, supplier targets, and category playbooks.
• Enhance supply base agility and competitiveness through Supply Market Making and Alternative Sourcing Programs.
• Define the supply base and sourcing footprint design across Hillenbrand operating companies.
• Drive measures related to categories and execution plans to meet established targets.
• Generate category intelligence that encompasses market trends, technologies, benchmarks, costs, and value drivers.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance against market benchmarks and demand requirements.
• Classify suppliers and establish targets for supplier development.
• Plan and align financial, operational, and business objectives.
• Develop alternative sourcing initiatives to optimize the supply base and enhance shiftability.
• Create business cases and obtain stakeholder commitment.
• Lead the execution of sourcing projects utilizing Advanced Negotiation Concepts.
• Oversee and assess the impact of supplier account management.
• Review and approve supplier targets and funnel measures.
• Define and promote elevated objectives for Key Suppliers and facilitate critical supplier meetings.
• Initiate funnels for cost-mastering and supplier development projects.
• Manage master purchase agreements and amendments, focusing on logistics, quality, and sustainability.
• Monitor and drive the execution of category-related funnel measures.
• Over 10 years of experience in Strategic Procurement.
• Several years of experience in global sourcing across European, Asian, and North American markets.
• A solid background in global Project and Program Management and in leading interdisciplinary cross-functional teams.
• Global sourcing experience complemented by advanced intercultural sensitivity and teamwork skills.
• Proficient negotiation skills and a strong grasp of game theoretical awarding events and e-auctions.
• Advanced analytical and conceptual abilities, a track record of driving results, and proficiency with relevant IT tools such as PowerBI.
• In-depth knowledge of Source-2-Contract processes and Supplier Contract Management.
• Expertise in commodity markets.
• Proficient in Total Cost of Ownership business case calculations, including make-versus-buy analysis.
• Familiarity with clean-sheet/should-costing methodologies.
• Understanding of GSM processes and governance.
• Experience in supply base risk management.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficient in Business English.
• Understanding and implementation of Core Values and the Hillenbrand Operating Model (HOM).
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, Business, or Supply Chain.
• Preferred master's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
• Desired expert-level certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, Design to Cost, and Project Management methodologies.
