This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee intricate site selection, relocation, workforce and labor analysis, demographic studies, and market evaluations.
• Conduct drive-time, distance, trade-area, and origin-destination assessments.
• Create weighted suitability models, spatial scoring techniques, and analytical frameworks to pinpoint and compare ideal locations.
• Integrate and assess data from Esri, Lightcast, commercial real estate platforms, public data repositories, and client-supplied datasets.
• Scrutinize data sources, assumptions, and methods to ensure accurate, defensible, reproducible, and client-ready analyses.
• Generate maps, dashboards, StoryMaps, reports, presentations, and other deliverables suitable for clients.
• Convert analytical results into clear narratives and recommendations that support leasing, investment, development, and locational choices.
• Collaborate with brokers and business teams on client strategies, pitches, pursuits, and business development.
• Provide guidance to brokers, marketing, research, and other business teams on analytical inquiries, methodologies, and result interpretations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in GIS capabilities, spatial analysis, data sources, and location intelligence methodologies.
• Establish and uphold GIS standards, templates, methodologies, and best practices.
• Enhance and automate GIS workflows, analytical models, and recurring deliverables using Python, ModelBuilder, and other tools.
• Investigate and implement AI, automation, and emerging analytical technologies while ensuring quality controls are maintained.
• Disseminate GIS knowledge, methodologies, and best practices throughout the organization.
• Report to the Director of Business and Location Intelligence and work in collaboration with local market teams across the nation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in GIS, location intelligence, geospatial analytics, or a similar discipline.
• Proven experience leading advanced site selection, market, demographic, workforce, or spatial analyses in a dynamic, client-oriented environment.
• Experience in translating analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business or client audiences.
• A portfolio or examples demonstrating advanced geospatial analysis and data visualization is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in the Esri platform, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, and Dashboards.
• Strong experience in site selection, demographic analysis, labor and workforce analytics, and spatial analysis within a client-facing context.
• Proven ability to construct and interpret suitability models and other multi-variable spatial analyses.
• Expertise in producing client-ready maps, visualizations, dashboards, reports, and presentations.
• Capability to work with large, complex datasets from various sources and evaluate data quality, assumptions, and limitations.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to convert technical analysis into clear business recommendations.
• Familiarity with Python, ModelBuilder, or other GIS automation tools is preferred.
• A strong preference for experience in commercial real estate, corporate location strategy, economic development, or consulting environments.
