This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prospect, develop, and implement strategies for locations within large, complex organizations.
• Generate new opportunities within high-profile accounts and enhance customer relationships.
• Engage in and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
• Exhibit advanced industry knowledge and its significance to GIS applications.
• Identify key stakeholders and business drivers to access executive, enterprise-level decision makers.
• Comprehend customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
• Clearly articulate the strengths and value of Esri technology for the infrastructure sector.
• Conduct research and pursue professional development to maintain a competitive edge.
• Utilize whiteboarding and presentation skills for effective visual storytelling.
• Implement account management and sales processes to achieve revenue targets.
• Assess work based on contributions to customer needs.
• Lead account strategies in cooperation with Esri teams and business partners.
• Share knowledge, provide support, and mentor team members.
• Proactively address and resolve issues.
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management.
• Proven experience in managing the sales cycle, forming partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large clients.
• Strong financial and business acumen to devise compelling account growth strategies.
• Advanced understanding of GIS and emerging technology trends, with the ability to translate this into intricate customer solutions.
• Familiarity with GIS, Esri technology, and industries such as electric, gas, telecom, or rail.
• Exceptional visual storytelling and negotiation capabilities across all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of industry fiscal years, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25–50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
