Senior Functional Business Central Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions to gain insights into client business processes, challenges, and objectives

• Convert business needs into customized Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions

• Create functional specifications and work collaboratively with technical teams on solution architecture

• Oversee end-to-end Business Central implementations, encompassing configuration, testing, training, and support

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and in line with client goals

• Offer post-implementation consulting and optimization services

• Assist in pre-sales activities through demonstrations, scoping sessions, and proposal formulation

• Guide clients on best practices, industry trends, and the capabilities of Business Central

• Work together with developers, project managers, and other consultants for successful project delivery

• Diagnose issues and provide expert advice on Business Central functionality

• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the discovery, design, implementation, and post-go-live stages

• Report directly to the Consulting Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV, including full-cycle implementations

• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and deliver customized solutions

• In-depth knowledge of Business Central Finance, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Management modules

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging executive stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, SQL Server, and SharePoint is advantageous

• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple client engagements

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada or the United States

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada and the USA

• Openness to completing a Predictive Index survey as part of the application process
