Senior Fullstack Engineer – Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Become a key member of a product engineering team within a rapidly expanding platform company in the fintech and alternative asset management sectors.

• Serve as a self-reliant and trusted technical collaborator for Product Managers and project leadership.

• Assist in the planning, development, and delivery of features for the company's core platform.

• Take ownership of the scheduling, coordination, and follow-up for designated projects and initiatives.

• Collaborate with Product Managers on the scoping, planning, and prioritization of platform features.

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality code utilizing Ruby on Rails and React, while maintaining regular status updates.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers regarding best practices, code quality, and problem resolution.

• Contribute to the enhancement of team processes and procedures.

• Integrate AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code into the everyday engineering workflow.

• Aid in delivering digital transformation solutions for global enterprises and public sector organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong practical experience with Ruby on Rails and React.

• Demonstrated history of functioning at a Senior Engineer level (or comparable).

• Comfortable engaging directly with Product Managers.

• Experience in mentoring or coaching junior engineers.

• Robust debugging and problem-solving abilities across the technology stack.

• Excellent communication skills, both asynchronously and in real-time.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily routine.

• Advanced English proficiency is required for this position, as interactions will be with US clients.

• Experience with Salesforce or familiarity with fintech, private capital, or alternative asset management is preferred.
