Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain production-level Node.js applications and services.

• Utilize AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor as primary development resources.

• Convert product and business needs into effective technical solutions.

• Leverage AI for development, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and code generation while retaining ownership of the resulting code.

• Construct and integrate APIs with third-party commercial software.

• Create integrations across payments, fraud detection, originations, and financial infrastructure.

• Employ AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.

• Assess and enhance AI-generated code for security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Modernize legacy or externally developed systems into clean, maintainable Node.js services.

• Develop automated tests and guarantee adherence to engineering quality standards.

• Diagnose production issues and contribute to observability and operational enhancements.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

• Make pragmatic architectural choices in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience with Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Robust API and backend development experience.

• Proficiency in building and integrating REST APIs and other service interfaces.

• Strong grasp of software architecture and engineering principles.

• Experience with AWS.

• Familiarity with databases and data modeling.

• Background in automated testing and CI/CD practices.

• Experience integrating third-party SaaS and API platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of Git and modern software development methodologies.

• Experience utilizing AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

• Preferred experience in FinTech or financial services.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced engineering setting.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a practical, hands-on approach to development.
