Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assess the current production codebase for potential risks related to architecture, security, scalability, and reliability.

• Suggest practical enhancements prior to prioritizing significant new feature development.

• Take ownership of features from data modeling and architecture to deployment and customer release.

• Engage with the full stack while predominantly focusing on the backend.

• Develop and enhance frontend features utilizing Vue.js.

• Elevate platform design and visual aesthetics.

• Leverage AI coding agents while ensuring correctness, reliability, and maintainability.

• Create, automate, and execute functional, regression, load, and smoke tests.

• Identify and communicate technical risks in a timely manner.

• Design and refine PostgreSQL data models and Prisma schemas.

• Collaborate on integrations with services such as Stripe Connect, LiveKit, Twilio, Zoom, Anthropic, and pgvector.

• Assist in managing and expanding a Google Apps Script reporting layer.

• Test, debug, and deploy features.

• Review pull requests and uphold a consistent standard of engineering excellence.

• Monitor production systems and engage in triage and incident resolution.

• Enhance code reliability, maintainability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-9+ years of experience in software engineering.

• Strong practical experience with Vue.js and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Nuxt and Prisma is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI coding agents within a production codebase.

• Proven expertise in systems architecture with a significant impact on structural decisions in production environments.

• Strong proficiency in testing, including functional, regression, load, and smoke testing.

• Experience in automating test suites.

• Ability to comprehend and work within an existing codebase before considering a rewrite or redesign.

• Highly organized and self-reliant.

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.

• Adaptability to a startup and high-growth setting.

• Proven track record of owning complete features from concept to production deployment.

• Availability for at least 5-6 hours within an 8-5 or 9-6 MST schedule.
