Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assess the current production codebase for potential architecture, security, scalability, and reliability vulnerabilities.

• Suggest practical enhancements prior to prioritizing significant new feature development.

• Take ownership of features from inception to completion, encompassing data modeling and architecture, through building, deployment, and customer release.

• Engage with the full stack, with a stronger emphasis on backend development.

• Develop and enhance Vue.js frontend features and visual design.

• Leverage AI coding agents while ensuring correctness, reliability, and maintainability.

• Design, automate, and execute functional, regression, load, and smoke tests.

• Identify and communicate technical risks at an early stage.

• Design and refine PostgreSQL data models and Prisma schemas.

• Collaborate on integrations including Stripe Connect, LiveKit, Twilio, Zoom, Anthropic, and pgvector.

• Assist in managing and expanding a Google Apps Script reporting layer.

• Test, debug, and deliver features.

• Review pull requests and uphold a consistent engineering standard.

• Monitor production systems and engage in triage and incident resolution.

• Enhance existing code for improved reliability, maintainability, and performance.

• Aid in preparing the private-beta community platform for its public launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-9+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant production experience in Vue.js and PostgreSQL.

• Strong preference for experience with Nuxt and Prisma.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI coding agents within a production codebase.

• Proven systems architecture experience with a track record of influencing structural decisions on production systems.

• Strong expertise in testing, including functional, regression, load, and smoke testing.

• Experience in automating test suites.

• Ability to comprehend, navigate, and work within an existing codebase prior to considering a rewrite or redesign.

• Highly organized and self-reliant, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

• Adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic, high-growth startup setting.

• Proven ability to take complete ownership of features from concept to production deployment.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-6 hours within an 8-5 or 9-6 MST schedule.

• Eligible to work in the United States, excluding California, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
