Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of features from data modeling and architecture to building, deploying, and delivering to customers.

• Engage with the entire stack, encompassing Vue components, Postgres queries, and Stripe webhooks.

• Leverage AI coding agents while ensuring correctness, reliability, and maintainability.

• Design, automate, and carry out functional, regression, load, and smoke testing.

• Recognize and communicate technical risks at an early stage.

• Develop and enhance Prisma schemas and Postgres data models.

• Collaborate across integrations including Stripe Connect, LiveKit, Twilio, Zoom, Anthropic, and pgvector.

• Assist in managing and expanding a Google Apps Script reporting layer.

• Test, debug, and deploy features.

• Review pull requests and uphold engineering standards.

• Monitor production systems and engage in triage and incident resolution.

• Enhance code reliability, maintainability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-9+ years of experience in software engineering with Nuxt or Vue, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI coding agents on a production codebase to enhance productivity without replacing critical thinking.

• Proven expertise in systems architecture, with a history of making or significantly influencing structural decisions on production systems.

• Strong background in testing, including functional, regression, load, and smoke testing, along with experience in automating test suites.

• Capability to read, comprehend, and operate within an existing codebase prior to considering a rewrite or redesign.

• Highly organized and self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic high-growth startup setting.

• Proven track record of working on complete features, from conception to production deployment.

• Availability within at least 5-6 hours of an 8-5 or 9-6 MST schedule.
