Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the current production codebase for security vulnerabilities, scalability issues, performance bottlenecks, architectural risks, data protection matters, and reliability challenges.

• Prioritize and execute practical enhancements to ensure a secure and stable public launch.

• Take ownership of features from data modeling and architecture through to building, deploying, and delivery.

• Engage with the full stack, with a stronger emphasis on backend development.

• Contribute to the development of the Vue.js frontend and enhance the platform's visual appeal.

• Leverage AI coding agents while ensuring correctness, reliability, and maintainability.

• Design, automate, and conduct functional, regression, load, and smoke testing.

• Identify and communicate technical risks at an early stage.

• Design and refine relational data models, PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, migrations, and Prisma models.

• Collaborate across integrations including Stripe Connect, LiveKit, Twilio, Zoom, Anthropic, and pgvector.

• Assist in establishing engineering standards for production.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10-12+ years of experience in software engineering.

• Strong production expertise with Vue.js.

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing relational databases.

• Preferred experience with PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Nuxt and Prisma is an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience in evaluating production applications for security, scalability, and performance risks.

• Practical experience in identifying vulnerabilities, safeguarding sensitive customer information, diagnosing bottlenecks, and implementing effective improvements.

• Experience in regulated industries or high-volume e-commerce is a significant plus.

• Ability to quickly grasp and contribute to an existing codebase and technical direction.

• Proven experience utilizing AI coding agents in a production codebase.

• Highly organized and self-sufficient.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting requirements.

• Adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic, high-growth setting.

• Proven track record of working on complete features from initial concept to production deployment.

• Ability to work within at least 5-6 hours of an 8-5 or 9-6 MST schedule.
