Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the UI/UX components of Humana’s Enterprise Data Governance Platform and Control Plane.

• Facilitate ongoing improvements to the Information Marketplace as a fundamental enterprise platform.

• Design, create, and sustain full-stack web applications that support the Information Marketplace platform.

• Construct modern front-end interfaces utilizing React, TypeScript, and state management frameworks.

• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and associated technologies.

• Convert business and technical requirements into maintainable software solutions.

• Contribute to the architecture of microservices, APIs, and UI frameworks with an emphasis on scalability, security, and performance.

• Integrate with metadata services, APIs, enterprise platforms, and external tools.

• Diagnose complex application issues, determine root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Enhance applications for performance, reliability, and user experience.

• Engage in code reviews and set development standards and best practices.

• Work collaboratively with product owners, architects, data engineers, and governance teams.

• Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated testing.

• Stay updated with contemporary development frameworks, tools, and engineering methodologies.

• Participate in all phases of software development, encompassing front-end, back-end, database integration, network and hosting management, UI/UX, and server management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5-8+ years of experience in application development or full-stack engineering.

• Proven experience in developing production-level web applications.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently.

• Experience in utilizing AI and AI coding tools to expedite the development lifecycle.

• Capability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Azure.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.

• Familiarity with Git-based source control.
