This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of features and components related to checkout and payments, scheduling, or sales-assisted and partner booking processes.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to implement and assess booking-funnel experiments.
• Develop fast, accessible customer-facing features utilizing React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and design, focusing on server/client component boundaries, TanStack Query, Zustand, React Hook Form, and Zod.
• Integrate booking experiences with commerce APIs and services such as Stripe, Affirm, commercetools, Voucherify, Salesforce, Auth0, and Google Maps.
• Monitor releases using Datadog RUM, PostHog, feature flags, and Google Tag Manager while adhering to consent choices.
• Enhance Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and rendering performance.
• Implement semantic markup, support for keyboard and screen readers, and perform automated accessibility checks.
• Write automated tests for components, API mocks, and end-to-end processes utilizing Vitest, Testing Library, MSW, and Playwright.
• Manage production outcomes, oversee dashboards post-release, and address any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Backend engineers on components and API agreements.
• Offer technical guidance through design discussions and code reviews, as well as mentor junior engineers.
• Thoughtfully utilize AI-assisted development tools in building, reviewing, and testing workflows.
• Typically requires 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years developing production applications using React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Next.js or a similar React framework, including server-side rendering, routing, and the trade-offs of server/client rendering.
• In-depth knowledge of semantic HTML, modern CSS, responsive layout, the event loop, network and caching behaviors, and the rendering pipeline.
• Familiar with modern data-fetching and state management patterns, as well as complex, validated, multi-step forms.
• Strong testing practices across unit, component, and end-to-end layers using tools like Vitest or Jest, Testing Library, and Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience in building checkout, payment, or other transactional workflows.
• Working understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with frontend observability and product analytics tools such as Datadog RUM, Sentry, PostHog, or Google Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD practices and cloud hosting, including GitHub Actions and AWS.
• Proven track record of leading complex features from conception to production.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous tasks and balancing speed with quality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, and business teams.
