Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of intricate frontend features across both web and mobile platforms.

• Design and enhance systems in React and React Native, along with shared libraries and robust abstractions.

• Identify and address issues related to rendering, state management, bundling, and runtime performance.

• Utilize TypeScript to clarify behavior and mitigate potential defects.

• Collaborate with product teams, backend engineers, and QA to transform complex requirements into seamless user experiences.

• Uphold quality standards through code reviews, as well as unit, end-to-end, and visual regression testing.

• Share expertise, mentor team members, and elevate frontend engineering practices.

• Operate within small, self-directed teams, taking ownership from problem identification to production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ownership of production-level frontend systems developed with React or React Native and TypeScript.

• Extensive knowledge of React rendering, component boundaries, data flow, and state management.

• Proven ability to design maintainable frontend architectures and reusable abstractions.

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing performance issues in complex web or mobile applications.

• Strong judgment in testing practices across unit, end-to-end, and visual regression coverage.

• Ability to solve problems in a clear and structured manner, along with the capability to articulate technical decisions and trade-offs.

• Solid engineering fundamentals and sound product judgment.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Depth in one frontend ecosystem is more important than familiarity with every technology listed, along with appropriate tool selection.
