Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of intricate frontend features from start to finish across both web and mobile platforms.

• Design and enhance systems utilizing React and React Native, including shared libraries and robust abstractions.

• Identify and address issues related to rendering, state management, bundle size, and runtime performance.

• Employ TypeScript to clarify behavior and mitigate defects.

• Collaborate closely with product management, backend engineering, and QA to transform complex requirements into seamless user experiences.

• Ensure high quality through code reviews, unit tests, end-to-end testing, and visual regression testing.

• Share expertise, mentor peers, and elevate the standards of frontend engineering.

• Collaborate in small, self-sufficient teams with a weekly release cycle and take ownership from problem identification to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ownership of production-level frontend systems developed with React or React Native and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of React rendering, component boundaries, data flow, and state management.

• Proven experience in designing maintainable frontend architecture and reusable components.

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing performance issues in complex web or mobile applications.

• Excellent judgment in testing strategies, including unit, end-to-end, and visual regression coverage.

• Ability to clearly articulate structured problem-solving approaches and explain technical decisions and trade-offs.

• Strong engineering principles and sound product judgment.

• Willingness to learn new technologies with confidence.

• Expertise in one frontend ecosystem is valued more than familiarity with all technologies listed.
