Senior Frontend Developer – Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable web applications utilizing Angular and TypeScript.

• Create reusable, maintainable, and high-quality Angular components, services, directives, and modules.

• Architect and implement clean frontend structures in accordance with established software engineering principles.

• Integrate Angular applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Manage complex asynchronous operations and application state using RxJS and suitable state-management patterns.

• Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces that align with UI/UX designs.

• Optimize application performance and scalability.

• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Develop and uphold unit, integration, and component tests.

• Engage in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding and architectural standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical and production issues.

• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver features seamlessly.

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural and engineering decisions.

• Recognize technical debt and continuously enhance code quality and development practices.

• Adhere to Git branching, pull requests, code review, and CI/CD protocols.

• Mentor junior and mid-level frontend developers as needed.

• Keep up-to-date with Angular ecosystem advancements and contemporary frontend development practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional frontend development experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Solid commercial experience with Angular.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.

• Significant experience with RxJS and reactive programming.

• Experience in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Thorough understanding of Angular architecture, including components, services, dependency injection, routing, forms, guards, interceptors, pipes, directives, and Angular lifecycle.

• Experience in application state management and recognizing when state management solutions are suitable.

• Strong knowledge of frontend design patterns and software engineering principles.

• Experience in writing automated tests using tools such as Jest, Vitest, or Jasmine.

• Proficient understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience with code reviews and pull requests.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of web security fundamentals.

• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript / ES6+, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST APIs, and JSON.
