Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Report to the FP&A Manager while supporting the U.S. Glass segment.

• Deliver dependable financial reporting and forecasting to the Glass leadership team.

• Collaborate with the Glass operations team to provide insights on business performance and financial analysis.

• Conduct ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects, including quarterly earnings preparation and monthly business reviews.

• Identify critical risks, opportunities, and business drivers.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports that include variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year, at brand, region, district, and store levels.

• Maintain and update departmental reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Oversee weekly sales reporting.

• Monitor weekly customers and strategic initiatives.

• Update and analyze monthly close Profit and Loss statements.

• Maintain store Profit and Loss statements, store comparable data, and financial information for the last twelve months by store.

• Translate business requirements into new reporting tools.

• Present financial analysis and forecasts to business partners on a weekly and monthly basis.

• Forecast expenses weekly and monthly, and prepare annual expense budgets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study.

• Over 3 years of experience in financial analysis.

• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.

• Quick learner of new systems and processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Effective in collaborating with individuals across various business functions.

• Capable of communicating and presenting information to senior leaders.

• Possess a continuous improvement mindset with a proven track record of enhancing tools and processes.

• Experience in constructing financial models and business cases.

• Experience with headcount expense analysis.

• Familiarity with planning technologies; Oracle EPM is preferred.
