This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage essential software integrations for C2 systems within customer environments, overseeing everything from initial deployment to production reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems on-site by utilizing logs, network traffic, and system-performance analysis.
• Participate in core service development and implement product enhancements based on insights gained from field experience.
• Write code on a daily basis across the entire stack, including customer integrations, core services, monitoring, and reliability solutions.
• Maintain continuous operational environments through non-standard hours, on-call support, and rotational mission assignments.
• Travel both domestically and internationally to test sites and customer locations, deploying software and addressing field issues.
• Work collaboratively with U.S. military and government program offices, both on-site and remotely, to translate operational needs into effective software solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• Strong command of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Golang, or Java.
• Knowledge of networking principles, including NAT, DNS/mDNS, UDP/TCP, multicast, and firewall configuration.
• Experience in Linux system administration and proficiency in shell scripting.
• Proven skills in debugging intricate software systems using logs, debuggers, and systematic tracing methods.
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively engage with U.S. government and military clients, as well as internal engineering teams.
• Willingness and capability to travel 60% of the time, both domestically and internationally, including to remote or restricted-access sites.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; an active Secret clearance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code is desirable.
• Background in distributed systems, real-time systems, or robotics software is preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation is a plus.
• Prior experience in customer-facing engineering or technical sales engineering is preferred.
• Experience within the defense, intelligence community, or aerospace software sectors is advantageous.
• Comfort with operating in non-permissive or resource-constrained environments is preferred.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must meet citizenship requirements for obtaining a U.S. security clearance.
