This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deploy and enhance workloads across multi-cloud, government-approved infrastructures.
• Take ownership of complex, mission-critical system deployments within regulated and classified government settings.
• Secure Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar container platforms within accredited environments.
• Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for 24/7 incident response and ongoing operations.
• Address and resolve findings from penetration testing.
• Deploy and sustain Kubernetes across various cloud platforms and diverse computing hardware.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical design evaluations.
• Act as a technical lead on customer-facing projects.
• Develop internal tools to automate security and operational workflows, minimizing manual effort.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in systems deployment, DevSecOps, or platform engineering within regulated or classified government environments.
• Proven track record of managing complex, mission-critical deployments beyond mere support or execution.
• Practical experience in deploying and securing workloads across AWS GovCloud/Commercial, Microsoft Azure Government, and Google Cloud.
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Experience customizing infrastructure to meet DoD Impact Levels 2–6 and JWICS environments.
• Expertise in securing Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar container platforms in accredited settings.
• Familiarity with image hardening, admission controls, network policies, and runtime security measures.
• Experience in implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions such as ELK, Splunk, and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Background in supporting 24/7 incident response, penetration test remediation, and ongoing operations.
• Expert-level skills in Linux server administration, including Talos and Red Hat distributions.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining Kubernetes on cloud platforms and varied computing hardware.
• Proven mentoring experience, leading technical design reviews, or serving as a technical lead on customer engagements.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or Bash.
• Established history of developing internal tools to streamline security and operational workflows.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance or eligibility; an active clearance is strongly preferred.
