Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare and distribute periodic financial statements for external stakeholders.

• Ensure that reports and disclosures adhere to government regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.

• Prepare journal entries for consolidation.

• Eliminate intercompany transactions.

• Consolidate financial accounts for divisions and subsidiaries for both internal and external financial statements.

• Administer the financial reporting framework and provide preparation guidelines.

• Analyze complex financial data to support decision-making within business units.

• Utilize financial forecasting expertise to project revenues, expenses, and cash flows.

• Calculate and interpret various financial ratios.

• Configure tools and software for the analysis of financial ratios, trends, scenarios, and variances.

• Control data collection through accounting software or an ERP system.

• Design a sophisticated chart of accounts.

• Develop financial key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Examine multi-period data to identify trends, growth rates, and changes in financial metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting.

• Strong skills in Accounting and Finance.

• A mindset focused on continuous process improvement.

• Working knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.

• A Certificate in Financial Reporting & Analysis is preferred.
