Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Identify and pursue opportunities for delivering information and automating business intelligence solutions.

• Offer technical insights on reference data and integration strategies.

• Design, develop, and implement sophisticated information delivery methods, including portals and reports that aggregate data from various sources.

• Manage one or more technologies within WebFOCUS, Tableau, and/or other leading business intelligence or web content tools.

• Provide time and resource estimates for assigned projects and tasks.

• Complete the preparation of documentation for various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of technical or analytical experience in business intelligence projects.

• Proven experience in strategic development and complex financial processes, systems, transactions, and the reconciliation of financial data.

• At least two (2) years of experience in generating reports using business intelligence tools such as WebFOCUS and/or Tableau.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in coding, including SQL, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

• Knowledge and proven experience in creating graphs, charts, and designing layouts for reports, web pages, and other information delivery methods.

• Experience in programming with RDBMS databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.

• Familiarity and demonstrated experience with modern software design and development methodologies.

• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite of software products.

• Understanding of testing tools, unit and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies.

• Proven experience in applying quality and security standards.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, both orally and in writing.

• Preference will be given to candidates located in the DC area.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Active public trust security clearance (MBI) or the ability to acquire and maintain one.
