Senior Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Identify and pursue senior-level opportunities related to information delivery and automation of business intelligence solutions.

• Offer advanced technical insights concerning reference data and integration strategies.

• Design, program, and execute intricate information delivery methods like portals and reports that utilize various data sources.

• Evaluate code produced by less experienced team members.

• Oversee one or more technologies in WebFOCUS, Tableau, and/or other leading business intelligence tools.

• Provide estimates for time and resources required for assigned projects and tasks.

• Complete extensive documentation preparation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten (10) years of technical and analytical experience in business intelligence projects.

• Proven experience in strategic development and complex financial processes, systems, transactions, and reconciling financial data.

• At least five (5) years of experience in generating reports using business intelligence tools such as WebFOCUS and/or Tableau.

• Five (5) years of experience in writing and reviewing code, including SQL, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity and proven experience in developing graphs, charts, and design skills for report layouts, webpages, and other information delivery methods.

• Knowledge and proven experience in programming with RDBMS databases including SQL Server and Oracle.

• Familiarity with modern software design and development methodologies.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.

• Experience with testing tools, unit and integration testing scripts, and testing methodologies.

• Knowledge and experience in applying quality and security standards.

• Proven ability to communicate professionally and effectively with individuals at all levels, both orally and in writing.

• Preference for candidates located in the D.C. area.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Active public trust security clearance (MBI) or the capability to obtain and maintain one.
