Senior Financial Planning & Analysis, FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Supervise the month-end closing process, which encompasses variance analysis and monthly reporting.

• Participate in and develop the annual budget alongside monthly forecasts.

• Oversee spend tracking, reporting, and analytics, which includes contract oversight, category-level expenditure, and margin summaries.

• Aid in ongoing operational reporting related to pacing, cost tracking, royalty reconciliation, and event-level analytics.

• Recognize dependable indicators of future performance and enhance financial accuracy.

• Collaborate with business teams to integrate priorities into budgets and align forecasts with real-world scenarios.

• Evaluate risks and opportunities through sensitivity analysis across short-, medium-, and long-term perspectives.

• Deliver forecasts and outcomes to senior finance and business executives.

• Create and monitor KPIs.

• Improve financial processes and reporting capabilities to promote efficiency.

• Offer financial and operational assistance to Roc Nation and its subsidiaries' teams.

• Manage special projects and respond to ad hoc requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience demonstrating success in FP&A.

• Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel.

• Competent user of PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., OneStream, Oracle Fusion, and SAP BPC).

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment during close cycles.

• Ability to articulate complex financial concepts in simple terms and collaborate across departments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to foster relationships across diverse disciplines, levels, and cultures.

• Outstanding organizational skills.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
