
Senior Financial and Planning Analyst – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Take charge of the marketing financial rhythm within the organization, which includes annual planning, quarterly forecasts, monthly closure reviews, and reporting to executives.
• Collaborate with VPs and senior marketing leaders to assess investments and make decisions regarding resource allocation.
• Create forecasting models for pipeline generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), payback periods, and revenue sourced from marketing efforts.
• Lead the annual budget and headcount planning processes for global marketing teams.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis to identify key factors affecting spending, productivity, and overall business performance.
• Develop scenario analyses for strategies related to demand generation, market expansion, digital marketing initiatives, events, and partner collaborations.
• Establish KPI dashboards and performance metrics to enhance accountability and decision-making processes.
• Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to both finance and marketing leadership.
• Initiate process improvements, automation, and ensure data integrity across financial and operational datasets.
• Act as the main finance business partner for the Marketing organization and manage the financial rhythm of a SaaS software company.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance.
• Advanced experience in financial modeling that encompasses top-line demand generation metrics and operating expenses.
• Proven experience in collaborating with executive-level stakeholders and influencing decisions through financial analysis.
• Demonstrated responsibility for planning, forecasting, and business review processes.
• Preferred experience in supporting Marketing, Revenue, GTM, Demand Generation, or Commercial organizations.
• Preferred background in SaaS, cloud software, enterprise software, subscription-based businesses, or technology companies.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to convert complex financial and operational data into actionable business recommendations.
• Capability to influence decisions via clear communication, executive presentations, and data-driven insights.
• Strong project management skills, along with organization and accountability across multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling, financial forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
• Ability to utilize SQL, manage large datasets, and employ automation tools to enhance planning accuracy and reporting efficiency.
