Senior Financial Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of Corporate Development (M&A) transactions and support growth initiatives.

• Facilitate acquisitions, joint venture formations, and complete or partial divestitures.

• Develop intricate Excel valuation models for prospective acquisitions and divestitures.

• Assess transactions utilizing discounted cash flow analysis, IRR, EBITDA multiples, and other relevant metrics.

• Prepare pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential joint ventures.

• Oversee due diligence processes, including leading site visits, liaising with sellers, gathering data, and ensuring thorough reviews.

• Develop presentations and proposals for sellers, joint venture partners, senior management, and the board of directors.

• Collaborate with Transaction Directors and legal teams in negotiating and drafting final agreements.

• Coordinate with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Integration, IT, Finance, Accounting, and other departments as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field from a prestigious undergraduate program.

• 2–4 years of analytical experience focused on transactions.

• Considerable direct experience in transactions.

• Strong skills in finance, analysis, and interpersonal relations.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced deal environment.

• Self-motivated and capable of independent problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with transaction stakeholders.

• Preferred experience in investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development.
