Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain driver-based financial models that encompass the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

• Assist in the long-range planning, annual budgeting process, and rolling forecasts.

• Oversee the internally managed long-range planning model, addressing assumptions, scenarios, sensitivities, and cycle roll-forwards.

• Take ownership of the monthly forecasting and closing processes by aggregating inputs for revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and capital expenditures.

• Align inputs with actuals from the general ledger and generate variance analyses with root-cause explanations.

• Model the economic aspects of contracts, focusing on revenue ramps, deployment timelines, unit economics, payback periods, IRR, and debt service coverage ratios.

• Evaluate the structures of infrastructure contracts, which may include revenue sharing, capacity backstops, residual value guarantees, and customer prepayments.

• Prepare reports for management, board members, and lenders, including budget-versus-actual comparisons and KPI packages.

• Create scenario tools for analyzing deployment delays, contract expirations and renewals, pricing sensitivities, and alternatives for capital deployment.

• Provide support for ad hoc strategic analysis, transaction evaluations, debt and equity financing processes, and corporate development initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with the Head of FP&A and the CFO.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, FP&A, corporate development, or a related field with hands-on experience in three-statement financial modeling.

• Proven analytical capabilities, including the ability to break down variances into their components, assess forward impacts, and present findings effectively to senior leadership.

• Proficiency in extracting economic terms directly from contracts, purchase orders, and transaction documentation.

• Advanced skills in Excel financial modeling, including the ability to create scenarios and sensitivity analyses.

• Capability to manage multiple workstreams within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with visibility to executives.

• Experience in investment banking with knowledge of infrastructure, data centers, cloud services, or semiconductor sectors is advantageous.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure business models, usage-based billing, or large-scale capital-intensive operations.

• SQL or similar data extraction skills are required.

• Proficient in NetSuite ERP / NSPB, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.
