Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the upcoming Annual Operating Plan and forecasting cycles by enhancing transparency regarding vendor expenditures, commercial obligations, renewal schedules, and potential savings.

• Utilize AI to create scalable tools and processes that enhance financial decision-making and automate manual tasks.

• Construct financial analyses and business cases for vendor renewals and new investments, assessing total cost of ownership, build-versus-buy considerations, alternatives, budget impacts, and forecast implications.

• Contribute to FP&A initiatives, including forecasting, headcount planning, executive reporting, infrastructure evaluation, and ad hoc financial projects.

• Collaborate across departments to enhance planning, forecasting, vendor management, and commercial oversight.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A.

• Knowledge of AI tools such as Codex and Claude for data analysis, workflow automation, and development of internal business tools.

• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets at an advanced level.

• Capability to independently create, troubleshoot, and maintain intricate financial models and reporting documents.

• Strong data analysis skills across various data sources.

• Experience in reconciling discrepancies, forecasting, and formulating business cases.

• Ability to quickly acclimate and autonomously manage existing processes.

• Proven track record of delivering consistently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
