Senior Financial Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee financial initiatives that deliver analytical insights, financial discipline, and business results to divisional leadership.

• Identify and prioritize financial strategies while creating actionable outputs that align with the company's strategic objectives.

• Formulate comprehensive financial strategies and plans utilizing customer and consumer insights.

• Assist in the development of divisional strategic positions and advocate for them within the division.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with internal partners to enhance financial analyses centered around business strategies and opportunities.

• Direct annual and long-term financial planning initiatives and analyses.

• Collaborate on both financial and qualitative analyses, providing thought leadership at departmental and multi-functional divisional levels.

• Foster financial innovation and stewardship through teamwork with internal stakeholders.

• Partner with internal clients to identify challenges, articulate visions, quantify financial impacts, and realize benefits.

• Generate, assess, and implement strategies to mitigate the financial impacts of existing or emerging business challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where applicable).

• Over 5 years of experience in a related field.

• Alternatively, 7+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• Currently, Blue Cross NC is unable to sponsor employment authorization for this position.

• Demonstrated executive presence when engaging with senior leadership.

• Proficient in clearly and effectively communicating financial insights.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
