This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with managers, directors, and senior leadership to analyze monthly productivity, address variance issues, and develop annual operating budgets.

• Oversee the coordination and completion of annual operating budgets.

• Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring the accuracy of financial information and journal entries.

• Maintain and report on management systems along with departmental statistical and financial data.

• Assess the financial implications of new programs.

• Develop financial forecasts and models.

• Create projections for new building projects and conduct rate analysis.

• Act as a project coordinator while providing support and training to team members.

• Contribute to the overall financial performance of Sanford Health, supporting complex areas within the organization.

• Analyze complex financial and accounting data and deliver precise insights.

• Communicate effectively with managers, various levels of management, and employees both orally and in writing.

• Thoroughly document work processes and manage competing priorities while adhering to deadlines.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.

• A foundational understanding of accounting principles and standards.

• Proficiency in making forecasts through statistical analysis.

• Capability to conduct accurate and complex financial data analysis.

• Skill in interpreting intricate financial and accounting data.

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

• Capability to mentor others and take initiative in professional development.

• Self-motivated and independent while also working collaboratively.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to thorough documentation.

• Experience in healthcare is advantageous.

• CPA, CMA, or other professional certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
