Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, analyze, and deliver financial data to aid in operational and strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with various disciplines within the Finance department.

• Assist in the monthly closing process.

• Manage investment and debt accounting responsibilities.

• Compile community benefit reports.

• Complete schedules for the annual audit.

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations related to investment and debt.

• Prepare and review compliance disclosures to meet both internal and external reporting timelines.

• Engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.

• Evaluate technical accounting standards and implement them in reporting results and disclosures.

• Aid in the preparation for and support the Company’s investment audit.

• Prepare and communicate analysis of investment and debt reporting to stakeholders.

• Compile and create quarterly and annual reports for community benefit reporting.

• Assist with and lead organizational initiatives and special projects.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting (or a related field), or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Proven expertise with financial applications and processes.

• Demonstrated ability to engage with leadership teams effectively.

• Solid understanding of financial systems.

• Knowledgeable about underlying process flows.

• Developed analytical skills, including the ability to identify issues/opportunities and propose potential solutions.

• Capacity to work independently.

• Strong prioritization, efficiency, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and position-specific applications.

• Master’s Degree is preferred.

• CPA certification is preferred.
