This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of FP&A, CFO, Controller, company leadership, and partners from marketplace operations, talent acquisition, demand generation, and clinical teams.
• Spearhead company-wide forecasting and planning activities.
• Oversee headcount planning and budgeting initiatives.
• Manage comprehensive expense and cash forecasting.
• Assist in strategic initiatives aimed at achieving profitability.
• Create scalable financial foundations for the organization.
• Work with stakeholders to create forecasts and financial models concerning headcount and vendor investments.
• Direct the bi-annual corporate budgeting process.
• Ensure transparency in resource allocation and that spending aligns with financial objectives and strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team on period-over-period and actual-versus-forecast analysis.
• Assess and enhance financial processes and systems.
• Define, plan, and implement financial planning software, including Pigment and Adaptive.
• Establish and introduce headcount and vendor management policies and procedures.
• Act as the primary contact for budgeting across the organization.
• Develop ROI-based business cases and assess investment trade-offs.
• Manage contracts, renewals, and vendor responses effectively.
• Partner with Accounting on cash management and bank reviews.
• Support various ad hoc finance projects.
• Lead regular comprehensive budget reporting and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements to enhance company margins.
• Implement a scalable planning system.
• Mentor and develop the Senior Financial Analyst.
• Formulate a long-term Planning & Budgeting strategy that supports growth plans of 3+ years.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A, financial operations, or a similarly analytical role within a high-growth startup or tech company, including at least 2 years in people management.
• Familiarity with financial systems and processes, coupled with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Remarkable attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor management, expense forecast versus actuals reporting, and/or data tools.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and adept at constructing thoughtful, structured processes from the ground up.
• Flexible and comfortable working in fast-paced environments characterized by high ambiguity and limited structure.
• Proactive in creating and developing scalable processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to present actionable insights to various stakeholders.
• Highly collaborative, with a team-oriented mindset, willing to actively contribute where necessary.
• Comfortable taking on diverse responsibilities and managing competing priorities.
• Passionate about working in a high-growth, mission-driven startup environment.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; Two Chairs is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
