This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create and oversee financial models along with monthly reporting packages.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Finance, with a secondary reporting line to the CFO.
• Collaborate with management in Finance and Accounting, business unit leaders, department heads, and private equity investors.
• Assist in the month-end closing process and evaluate actual results along with their implications for forecasts and operations.
• Maintain, revise, and enhance the monthly and rolling forecast models.
• Cultivate relationships with business partners and department leaders to offer insights into trends.
• Provide regular and on-demand reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as reporting requirements.
• Gain a deep understanding of organizational KPIs and metrics.
• Lead efforts in process improvement, operational insights, and data analysis.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, modeling, sensitivity analyses, and what-if scenarios.
• Assist in treasury functions and manage banking relationships.
• Prepare and refresh monthly sales commission reports.
• Develop automated tools for reporting and forecasting.
• Undertake various cross-company responsibilities and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
• Attend and complete required HIPAA training to demonstrate competency.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
• 3-6 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or accounting (public or private) is required.
• Capability to establish remote relationships and uphold confidentiality with a diverse range of stakeholders (executive presence is essential).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are a must.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is required.
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI is preferred.
• Understanding of M&A initiatives and processes is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is crucial.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are vital.
• Core-hours availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT is required.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays based on industry demands is necessary.
• Experience in the PBM or Healthcare industry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must adhere to HIPAA obligations, complete necessary HIPAA training, and report any violations discovered.
