This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Provide support for financial reporting and control to the local management team.
• Prepare internal financial reports, analyses, and actual-versus-plan comparisons.
• Analyze operations, trends, costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses.
• Assist with cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial planning activities.
• Publish regular financial reports, including metrics for accounts payable, freight, and consumables.
• Review financial data to identify trends and opportunities, recommending cost efficiencies.
• Generate cost estimates, strategic business cases, risk assessments, and ad hoc analyses.
• Engage in process improvement projects and the development and implementation of financial tools.
• Oversee financial process improvements, KPIs, and tracking of strategic initiatives.
• Support both internal and external financial and system audits.
• Manage workload to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
• Ensure prompt invoice payments and verify charges and expenses for billing files.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable process, which includes purchasing, vendor invoice tracking, and revenue accruals.
• Conduct month-end closing activities, including journal entries, corporate submissions, expense management, budget support, and ad hoc analyses.
• Prepare month-end journal entries focused on cost accruals.
• Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model.
• Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Attend meetings, document and distribute minutes, and create reports and communications.
• Assist with the design and development of presentations.
• Communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, and others on behalf of site management.
• Schedule and meet with vendors to maintain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with Operations to create budgets and forecasts for financial performance.
• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or finance is required.
• Strong ability to prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analyses.
• Knowledge of financial planning, budgets, forecasts, and cost management.
• Capability to analyze revenues, expenses, trends, and operational costs.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, invoicing, billing, and vendor invoices.
• Proficient in preparing journal entries and supporting month-end closing processes.
• Ability to develop cost estimates, business cases, risk assessments, and ad hoc analyses.
• Skill in managing KPIs, financial process improvements, and tracking strategic initiatives.
• Ability to support internal and external financial and system audits.
• Competence in handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and security.
• Effective communication skills with employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficient in using financial systems and tools for reporting, tracking, and analysis.
