Senior Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead programs by offering technical direction and support to ABB's end customers, users, and other field personnel.

• Assist in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of designated product lines, which include power delivery, drive systems, and control systems.

• Adhere to all ABB and customer EHS policies and procedures.

• Install, maintain, repair, and commission equipment utilized in power delivery, outages, control systems, and power quality systems.

• Build collaborative relationships with team members and follow guidance from Field Engineers, Lead Field Engineers, and Senior Management.

• Foster strong client relationships to create a robust base for referral business.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma along with 9 years of experience in power systems, startup/commissioning, testing, and maintenance.

• Additional formal education may be considered as a substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

• Experience with various electrical controls and systems is preferred, including Mid-Voltage and Low-Voltage Switchgear; Power Panels & Motor Control Center (MCC); Generator & Transformer maintenance; Electromechanical Repairs; Relay Testing & installation; PLCs & DCS; Wiring Diagrams; Blueprints & Schematics; as well as Testing Equipment & Instruments.

• Must be willing and able to travel 60% of the time.

• Candidates should already possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
