This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the global industry events strategy from start to finish, encompassing vision, prioritization, and investment methodology.
• Establish the company’s strategic approach for trade shows, regional customer gatherings, executive initiatives, and partner activations in AMER and EMEA.
• Guide and nurture direct reports through objective setting, coaching, and skill development.
• Develop and refine a global event portfolio that aligns with global strategy, brand guidelines, and local market demands.
• Define and monitor KPIs and reporting standards for the global industry sector.
• Collaborate with senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Product to ensure event alignment with pipeline and demand-generation goals.
• Manage global event budgets in partnership with Finance and Procurement, including planning, approvals, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure regional teams adhere to budgetary constraints.
• Evaluate both qualitative and quantitative portfolio performance and advise on future strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for senior stakeholders.
• Over 8 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or experiential marketing, including a background in leading global or multi-region event portfolios.
• A proven history of building and scaling a global event portfolio while establishing measurement frameworks to assess output and ROI.
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience, demonstrating success in developing managers and enhancing team capabilities for independent execution.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally at a senior level with Marketing, Sales, Field Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors or agencies across various regions.
• Strong ability to function at both strategic and executional levels.
• Highly organized, with a record of managing competing regional priorities and adapting to shifting requirements on a large scale.
• Proactive and adaptable in solving problems in a fast-evolving, multi-region environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Experience in the tech/SaaS industry.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools, such as Salesforce and Marketo.
• Experience with technology platforms such as Splash and Rainfocus.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Adequate knowledge of English for professional verbal and written communication.
