Events Marketing Manager

📋 Description

• Take ownership of InStride’s comprehensive event strategy encompassing sponsored events, hosted experiences, in-person programs, virtual events, and webinars.

• Ensure alignment of event investments with go-to-market priorities, targeted industries, key audiences, and business goals.

• Develop business strategies for key events, detailing objectives, target accounts and personas, desired audience actions, sales activation plans, supporting channels, and success metrics.

• Plan and execute events for customers, prospects, executives, and third parties.

• Oversee the complete event execution process, including sponsorships, vendor selection and contracts, registration, messaging, booth and experience design, materials, staffing, budgets, timelines, and on-site management.

• Create sales activation strategies alongside Sales and BDR teams for targeted account outreach, meeting generation, messaging, attendee engagement, and follow-up.

• Analyze performance insights to inform future event investments and enhance impact and ROI.

• Maintain InStride’s strategic events calendar and portfolio overview.

• Ensure that event investments support broader marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA, or WI.

• A minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience, with substantial experience managing events, integrated campaigns, field marketing, demand generation, or ABM programs.

• Proven experience in overseeing complex in-person events, sponsorships, executive experiences, and/or virtual events from start to finish.

• Familiarity with using CRM, marketing automation, and/or ABM platforms for audience targeting, event activation, attribution, and measurement.

• Strong preference for experience in account-based marketing and target-account activation strategies.

• Ability to convert business and go-to-market priorities into effective event strategies.

• Understanding of B2B sales processes and capability to collaborate effectively with Sales and BDR teams.

• Practical expertise in event conceptualization, sponsorships, logistics, staffing, budgeting, attendee experience, lead tracking, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.

• Experience in defining event KPIs, assessing account engagement and pipeline impact, evaluating ROI, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.

• Capability to coordinate among Marketing, Sales, BDRs, Design, Product, RevOps, executives, and external partners.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to independently manage multiple intricate projects.

• Travel may be necessary.
