Event Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead the event strategy for Runway.

• Develop and implement events that align with various Runway initiatives.

• Collaborate across departments including Sales, Partnerships, and Community.

• Support broader marketing efforts aimed at increasing revenue and enhancing brand visibility.

• Identify and secure venues and vendors through established relationships or outreach efforts.

• Manage event vendors, covering aspects such as venues, security, production setups, and print materials.

• Assemble guest lists and invite attendees in collaboration with Sales, Partnerships, and Community, focusing on goals like lead generation, partnership growth, and community engagement.

• Oversee event activities and schedules on the day of the event.

• Conduct outreach to partners and facilitate collaborations with festival partners and event sponsors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in marketing, including at least 2 years in event marketing and/or production.

• Experience specifically in conference settings is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proven track record of managing an event or experiential campaign from concept to execution while staying on budget.

• Cross-functional experience with teams such as Sales, Brand, Creative, Communications, or similar areas.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Willingness to engage in various initiatives and marketing roles.

• Must be able to work near the NYC office or be open to relocation.

• Required to indicate if currently based in NYC or within a reasonable commute/train distance.

• Required to disclose if visa sponsorship from Runway will be necessary.

• Experience in planning and executing an event with over 250 attendees is essential.
