Senior Field Controls Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer job sites to diagnose complex HVAC, controls, and equipment problems.

• Offer advanced technical assistance to Field Service Technicians both via phone and on-site.

• Troubleshoot and implement minor adjustments to controls programs, HMI systems, and graphical interfaces.

• Assist in new product development and prototype testing at Munters facilities.

• Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to identify design enhancements and address field issues.

• Engage in Kaizen and cross-functional improvement initiatives.

• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement through the ECO process.

• Contribute to prototype builds and offer feedback to engineering and design teams.

• Act as a technical resource for Field Service and other internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in troubleshooting HVAC equipment and control systems.

• Familiarity with HVAC components such as compressors, valves, fans, and heat exchangers.

• Capability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations as necessary.

• Experience with 3D CAD, ERP/MRP systems, or complex mechanical assemblies is a plus.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of industry experience is preferred.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check, as applicable to the position.
