This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee the US Federal Government sector with a primary emphasis on DOD/DOW and Intelligence Agencies.
• Manage end users from Federal DOD, Intelligence, and Civilian sectors, along with Federal System Integrators.
• Market Brocade Fibre Channel SANs and critical mission storage administration solutions.
• Collaborate with a Systems Engineer to represent Broadcom to clients, advocating for customer requirements during sales activities.
• Identify, qualify, and secure sales opportunities.
• Maintain a pipeline of ongoing deals to guarantee sustainable revenue streams.
• Establish and meet account-based revenue goals and sales targets.
• Deliver Brocade technology presentations both in-person and remotely to Fibre Channel directors, switches, extension platforms, and software management tools.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients, understanding their technical initiatives, priorities, and challenges.
• Work alongside other Broadcom business units on complementary technical sales activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor and Brocade subject matter expert to support strategic partners in closing deals.
• Serve as the point of escalation for critical customer needs and issues.
• Identify competitive opportunities and promote the preference for Brocade solutions by effectively communicating their differentiation and benefits.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• At least 12 years of proven sales experience targeting Federal enterprise-level data centers.
• Strong preference for candidates holding an active US Government Top Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with storage networking, including Fibre Channel, block-based storage, IP-based storage, and implementation experience in enterprise-level data center networks.
• Awareness of government-required certifications such as FIPS, Common Criteria, JITC, CNSA 1.0/2.0, TIC, USGv6, and TAA.
• Knowledge of storage networking platforms, including SDS, HCI, HPC, and Cloud solutions.
• Basic understanding of industry A.I. trends, initiatives, and experience with business adoption is a significant advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
• Capability to manage projects to completion with proactive self-initiative.
• Demonstrated ability to network with industry contacts and partners, utilizing professional social media platforms effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight for approximately 2–3 trips per quarter.
• Strong preference for candidates residing in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
• Active US Government Top Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
