This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor to clients regarding best practices in change management and identify opportunities for enhancement.

• Carry out and consolidate research focusing on customers, industry trends, and end-user insights.

• Create and implement comprehensive design strategies for intricate transformation projects.

• Oversee experience design processes throughout project lifecycles, which involve interviews, design preparation, experience vision, features, and capabilities.

• Generate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications employing human-centered design techniques.

• Direct research, interaction, and visual design across the Salesforce platform.

• Facilitate design validation and user testing with end-users.

• Develop inclusive and accessible designs while advocating for accessibility.

• Clearly present concepts and support design-related decisions.

• Foster stakeholder alignment, engagement, and buy-in across various functions.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients through co-creation and ongoing alignment.

• Incorporate human-centered service design and Design Thinking methodologies.

• Partner with program management teams to weave design strategies into project delivery.

• Identify risks and navigate issues to resolution.

• Lead, coordinate, or manage work tracks and project teams effectively.

• Organize, plan, and finalize customer engagements alongside internal team members.

• Develop and oversee project design plans, tasks, activities, and dependencies.

• Manage changes in project scope and modify plans as necessary.

• Mentor and develop Experience Design practitioners and project team members.

• Act as an escalation point and drive outcomes on customer engagements.

• Support the development of Experience Design capabilities and share standard best practices.

• Spearhead internal strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the consulting practice.

• Contribute to the community's knowledge base and expertise.

• Receive positive feedback from internal teams and leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in the industry in customer-facing roles, leading design teams and/or overseeing work on complex experience-driven engagements involving large-scale transformations.

• Proven experience in leading Experience Design/User Experience relevant workstreams.

• In-depth knowledge of Experience Design and User Experience principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Experience in architecting scalable and integrated platform experiences within complex enterprise ecosystems.

• Proficiency in utilizing analytics and user research to inform decisions and shape design iterations.

• Familiarity with the application of AI tools in service delivery.

• Skills in product design, information design, interaction design, and visual design.

• Expert knowledge of contemporary design tools such as Figma.

• Experience with design systems, particularly the Salesforce Lightning Design System.

• Knowledge or experience with Salesforce products and solutions, or other commercial off-the-shelf enterprise software such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong workshop design and facilitation abilities.

• Demonstrated experience in building customer relationships.

• Documented experience working with Public Sector clients.

• BA/BS or MA/MS in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 25–30% as needed.

• U.S. citizenship required (either born or naturalized; no dual citizenship permitted).

• Agreement to undergo a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government.
