Senior Software and System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the architecture for cloud-networking and security solutions.

• Craft cutting-edge system architecture for DPU and NIC technologies.

• Develop comprehensive solutions spanning from application level to hardware level.

• Deliver quick and innovative solutions to intricate problems.

• Compose effective, clear, and dependable architecture specifications.

• Assess emerging technologies and swiftly create proof-of-concept prototypes for complete products and solutions.

• Collaborate closely with software and hardware architects, R&D, product teams, solution architects, application engineers, and field engineers globally.

• Engage with prestigious customers on advanced technologies and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or Systems Architect.

• Substantial background as a Software Developer.

• Profound knowledge of and proficiency in C and Python.

• Practical experience in Linux development.

• Familiarity with cloud-networking.

• Broad understanding of networking protocols and common network topologies.

• Exceptional design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work simultaneously with multiple teams both locally and internationally.

• Outstanding communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

• Development experience with networking/security devices – NICs/DPUs/Switches/Routers/Firewalls.

• Solid understanding of operating systems and drivers.

• Background in data center technologies, network topologies, and cloud.

• Experience with DPDK, OVS, OVN.

• Proficiency in Docker, Containers, Kubernetes components, and subsystems.
