This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop intricate Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex and Lightning Web Components.

• Generate robust technical deliverables, including architecture documentation.

• Write SOQL queries for a custom object model that illustrates the flow of funds from donor contributions to outgoing grants.

• Make decisions regarding solution trade-offs related to scalability, maintainability, user experience, systems, and integrations.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs across various systems and teams.

• Proactively identify and mitigate platform/API limitations, integration failures, and data integrity issues.

• Oversee system security and data compliance, including sharing settings, permissions, and field history tracking.

• Assess, recommend, implement, and manage Salesforce features and third-party applications.

• Collaborate with the senior technical lead on the system’s technical strategy.

• Guide team members, review technical contributions, and elevate the team’s technical standards.

• Assist in overseeing user support and addressing escalated issues.

• Evaluate Salesforce platform updates, deprecations, and security needs such as enhanced MFA.

• Implement and promote DevOps practices utilizing Gearset and IntelliJ with Illuminated Cloud.

• Act as a release manager or mentor administrators in that role.

• Influence AI-enhanced development workflows using the in-house Salesforce MCP.

• Design budget allocation architecture and grant tagging/reporting systems.

• Enhance and refactor the current codebase.

• Maintain and improve Lightning Web Components for the Data Model Redesign initiative.

• Develop integration patterns for the Partnerships function and manage external user access.

• Investigate the feasibility of a potential grantee portal on Experience Cloud.


⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of direct Salesforce development experience; likely around 7+ years at the Senior Architect level.

• Extensive background in Salesforce administration and development.

• Strong expertise in solution architecture, implementations, and data migrations.

• Recent and substantial experience in building Lightning Web Components.

• Hands-on experience and accountability for delivering Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.

• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, constraints, and established design patterns.

• Experience managing complex projects from inception to completion in environments with significant business process intricacies.

• Proven experience in making architectural decisions that encompass Salesforce and associated tools and integrations.

• Salesforce DevOps experience, including sandbox-to-production deployment and Gearset pipeline management.

• Aptitude for making significant technical decisions independently while mentoring junior colleagues appropriately.

• Ability to drive ambitious, under-scoped projects to completion and balance work across multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder management skills and the capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with or strong interest in AI-enabled workflows.

• Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) certification.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification.

• Ability to work remotely with at least 3-4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern time.

• Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship.

• Additional certifications such as Platform Developer II or architect-level certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with third-party integrations, particularly with Airtable, Zapier, FormAssembly, Fillout, Ironclad, and BigQuery infrastructure, is a plus.

• Experience in mission-driven, philanthropic, and/or nonprofit sectors is advantageous.
