This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage an asset-class event portfolio and collaborate closely with Sales teams.
• Carry the pipeline target for the portfolio and assist in achieving quarterly pipeline objectives.
• Evaluate pipeline sourced, account progression, cost per opportunity, event ROI, target-account engagement, and follow-through.
• Create pre-event target-account lists in conjunction with account executives and Sales leaders.
• Maintain portfolio scorecards, campaign records, attendee information, lead handoff, and post-event evaluations.
• Oversee post-event follow-up systems, monitor SLAs, and escalate any stalled follow-through.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations and data teams on account scoring and data integrity.
• Convert business objectives and audience requirements into suitable event formats.
• Design a comprehensive attendee journey, encompassing invitations, content, hospitality, environment, branding, and follow-up.
• Act as the end-to-end Event Lead for objectives, audiences, formats, content, budgets, vendors, on-site execution, and follow-through.
• Manage vendors, venues, and cross-functional contributors within budgetary constraints.
• Lead pre-event dossiers, on-site execution, and post-event transitions.
• Develop agents and automations to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and partner with IT and data on event tools.
• Build expertise in asset classes and provide guidance on event audiences, accounts, sponsorship economics, and investment choices.
• Collaborate with account executives and Sales leaders, influence investment decisions, and share insights across the Events team.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing B2B events, field programs, customer programs, or similar roles where you were responsible for the outcome, not just the execution.
• Strong commercial mindset, with experience in achieving or contributing to a pipeline or revenue target, or a keen interest in direct accountability for one.
• Excellent judgment and prioritization abilities, including the capacity to push back on low-value tasks, articulate the reasons, and suggest better alternatives.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with account executives and Sales leaders.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, and event technologies.
• Understanding of good data hygiene and its significance in measuring impact.
• History of creating programs that people genuinely wanted to attend.
• Willingness and ability to travel for on-site event execution.
• Experience in private markets, asset management, fintech, or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the private markets conference circuit and major producers, especially in private equity or venture capital, is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfort with using AI tools and lightweight automation is a plus, though not required.
