Senior Event Project Manager – Pharma Events

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of several large-scale, intricate projects from inception to completion.

• Serve as the primary senior-level contact for the pharmaceutical client.

• Foster trusted client relationships while offering insights on project strategy, execution, and industry best practices.

• Facilitate collaboration among internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to client standards, tools, processes, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

• Manage project oversight, including timelines, budgets, risk assessment, resource planning, and reporting.

• Proactively identify challenges and handle escalations effectively.

• Maintain oversight in high-pressure situations and when unexpected changes occur.

• Mentor and support team members in their professional development.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in event project management within an event agency.

• Significant experience collaborating with pharmaceutical and/or healthcare clients.

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards both in Germany and internationally.

• Proven track record in managing complex international projects involving numerous stakeholders and substantial event budgets.

• Established ability to serve as a trusted advisor and influence senior stakeholders on the client side.

• Excellent familiarity with attendee management tools, especially Cvent.

• Strong operational project management capabilities.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.

• Willingness and capacity to take ownership, exhibit resilience, and navigate through ambiguity and change.

• Bonus: Experience in leading project teams or mentoring and developing staff.
