Senior ETL Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and comprehend the current ETL architecture and data flows.

• Maintain, enhance, and optimize ETL packages primarily created using SSIS and Python.

• Identify and address issues within existing ETL processes prior to transitioning to the new architecture.

• Assist in transforming current ETL processes for the upcoming cloud-based Data Lakehouse architecture.

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and continuity of daily data integration operations.

• Collaborate with the Data Architect, Business Intelligence team, and pertinent stakeholders.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks, proactively identify areas for improvement, and drive efforts through to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of professional experience in ETL development, data integration, or a related field.

• Extensive hands-on experience with SSIS and Python.

• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data flows, and Data Warehouse principles.

• Experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing ETL packages.

• Capability to contribute to ETL modernization and data architecture transformation initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and ownership of tasks.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Intermediate to upper-intermediate proficiency in English, with the ability to utilize English as needed.
