This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as the authority on The Access Group Children's Services Mosaic data model
• Design and create intricate reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions utilizing Mosaic data
• Evaluate and interpret complex data requirements from Children's Services and various stakeholders
• Develop datasets for reporting and business intelligence solutions to aid operational and strategic decision-making
• Independently identify, extract, transform, and present data from Mosaic and associated systems
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain corporate database solutions
• Create advanced data integrations and automated data workflows
• Support initiatives for business intelligence and performance reporting
• Design and uphold reporting structures, data warehouses, and analytical environments
• Provide technical expertise in SQL Server, Oracle databases, and additional database platforms
• Guarantee access to precise management information and performance reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert reporting needs into technical implementations
• Improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting efficiency
• Troubleshoot issues related to reporting, databases, and analytics
• Offer technical guidance and support to end users and stakeholders
• Generate technical documentation, guidance, and support materials
• Suggest enhancements to data storage, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities
• Assist corporate data governance and information management efforts
• Work alongside service managers, analysts, developers, and operational teams
• Coordinate with third-party vendors as required
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Help users comprehend reporting outputs and business intelligence tools
• Candidates must be based in the UK
• Extensive experience with The Access Group Children's Services Mosaic data models
• Proven history in developing data and analytics reporting solutions utilizing Mosaic data
• Strong skills in SQL development
• Significant experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Databases, Microsoft Access, and Relational Database Management Systems
• Experience in designing and maintaining Business Intelligence Solutions, Data Warehouses, Data Storage Solutions, and Reporting Frameworks
• Proficiency in generating complex reports and dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent skills in technical documentation and report creation
• Ability to translate business needs into technical reporting solutions
• Degree-level qualification in ICT, Computing, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience
• Desirable: Experience within Local Government Children's Services
• Desirable: Familiarity with Mosaic reporting frameworks and integrations
• Desirable: Experience in data warehouse architecture and business intelligence platforms
• Desirable: PRINCE2 Foundation qualification
• Desirable: ITIL Foundation qualification
• Desirable: Experience in Agile development environments
• Desirable: Experience mentoring or supporting technical staff
