This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Oversee intricate risk data analytics projects from the initial requirements stage through to delivery, validation, implementation, and ongoing operational support.
β’ Convert business inquiries into precise data, analytics, and reporting specifications.
β’ Develop and uphold reliable risk datasets, semantic models, dashboards, reports, and reusable analytic tools.
β’ Synthesize and evaluate information from internal platforms, vendor tools, external sources, and operational systems.
β’ Streamline data collection, preparation, validation, reconciliation, refreshes, and repetitive reporting procedures.
β’ Generate analytics that highlight trends, control deficiencies, emerging risks, performance gaps, and opportunities to prioritize risk actions.
β’ Facilitate governed, analytics-ready data products for leadership reporting, operational insights, automation, and future AI capabilities.
β’ Establish optimal practices for data sourcing, transformation, quality, documentation, governance, access, and reporting utilization.
β’ Mentor analysts and empower stakeholders through technical consultation, reusable templates, training, and practical assistance.
β’ Collaborate with risk, control, regulatory, product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
β’ No supervisory responsibilities.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in data analytics, business intelligence, risk analytics, data governance, operational reporting, or a related field.
β’ Proven experience in delivering analytics, reporting, or data product solutions from requirements to implementation and continuous enhancement.
β’ Preferred experience in handling risk, compliance, controls, audit, cybersecurity, technology operations, insurance, or other intricate business data.
β’ Preferred experience in enhancing data quality, reconciling data sources, defining metrics, documenting business rules, or minimizing manual reporting efforts.
β’ Proficient in SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Python, and advanced Excel.
β’ Capability to lead complex risk data analytics projects from requirements through to delivery, validation, implementation, and operational support.
β’ Ability to collaborate with risk, control, regulatory, product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
β’ Skill in defining, documenting, and applying standard risk metrics, data definitions, business rules, and quality benchmarks.
β’ Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States; Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this role.
