Senior Estimator – Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive cost estimates for electrical construction projects, encompassing labor, materials, and equipment.

• Evaluate and interpret project drawings, specifications, and the scope of work.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to clarify project requirements.

• Establish and nurture relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure precise pricing.

• Perform risk assessments and pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction.

• Prepare and present thorough bid proposals to clients.

• Provide mentorship and training to junior estimators as required.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve the estimating process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 10 years of experience in electrical estimating within the commercial construction sector.

• Proficient in estimating software, including Accubid, PlanSwift, or Syspro, as well as Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and industry standards.

• Outstanding analytical and mathematical abilities for precise cost forecasting.

• Demonstrated success in managing multiple estimates simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

• Capability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately in a remote or hybrid environment.

• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), are advantageous.
