Senior Enterprise Product Manager

📋 Description

• Define and enhance product strategy and roadmaps that support the growth of Global Forwarding, automation, operational scalability, and customer experience.

• Modernize intricate forwarding workflows, including pricing, carrier contracts, shipment planning, booking, visibility, documentation, and operational execution.

• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data science, operations, business, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

• Identify and outline safe applications of AI, generative AI, agentic workflows, intelligent automation, and decision-support capabilities.

• Conduct both quantitative and qualitative research, operational observation, experimentation, and customer discovery.

• Convert customer, business, and operational challenges into product outcomes, requirements, hypotheses, and measurable success criteria.

• Oversee initiatives from discovery to launch and adoption, ensuring alignment, prioritization, communication, change management, and measurement.

• Specify product requirements and work closely with engineering throughout the design, development, testing, launch, and iteration phases.

• Establish and track metrics for adoption, automation, efficiency, customer experience, quality, financial impact, and business outcomes.

• Validate assumptions and assess existing capabilities to reduce unnecessary technology investments.

• Manage trade-offs involving customer value, business value, complexity, operational impact, risk, and speed to market.

• Assess emerging opportunities and technologies that align with Global Forwarding and enterprise priorities.

• Navigate dependencies among products, teams, systems, and business functions.

• Develop an understanding of Global Forwarding operations and link technology investments to measurable outcomes.

• Create business cases for strategic investments, communicating value, trade-offs, and risks effectively.

• Present strategy, progress, recommendations, risks, and outcomes to senior and executive leadership.

• Mentor Product Managers and enhance product management practices.

• Promote experimentation, learning, evidence-based decision-making, delivery, and business results.

• Perform additional duties as assigned according to team and/or country-specific requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in product management, technology business analysis, or relevant industry/domain experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience along with a high school diploma/GED.

• Proven experience in defining product strategy, prioritizing complex portfolios, and translating business issues into technology solutions.

• Experience leading products or initiatives that span multiple teams, systems, or business functions.

• Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams throughout the discovery, design, development, testing, launch, and optimization stages.

• Ability to utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and assess outcomes.

• Strong stakeholder management skills applicable across business, technology, operations, and leadership teams.

• Capability to communicate product strategy, trade-offs, business value, and complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to operate effectively in uncertain environments and transition from loosely defined problems to actionable product direction.

• Preferred: experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, transportation management systems, or complex operational settings.

• Preferred: experience with pricing, rating, carrier contracts, shipment planning, booking, tracking, visibility, or related supply chain functions.

• Preferred: experience in delivering automation products.

• Preferred: experience with generative AI, large language models, intelligent automation, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled decision-support products.

• Preferred: experience in defining requirements for AI-powered capabilities, including evaluation criteria, quality measurement, human-in-the-loop workflows, and operational guardrails.

• Preferred: familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, tool/function calling, autonomous or semi-autonomous agents, and AI-assisted workflow orchestration.

• Preferred: experience with digital marketplaces, optimization, decision engines, or data-driven products.

• Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant fields such as business, finance, economics, marketing, MIS, mathematics, engineering, analytics/data science, or related areas.

• Ability to conduct strategic quantitative and/or qualitative analysis.

• Willingness and capability to quickly learn complex custom applications and business domains.

• Strong critical thinking, negotiation, facilitation, consulting, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic, and analytical skills.

• Expert facilitation skills.

• Experience in developing business cases, ROI models, or operational efficiency analyses.

• Experience in a product-led organization and applying lean product development, experimentation, or hypothesis-driven approaches.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to influence across a large, decentralized, matrixed organization without direct authority.
